Our Home
Shoreham Village is a long-term care home located in the picturesque village of Chester, Nova Scotia. We are situated in a park-like setting on over fourteen acres of landscaped and wooded grounds that provide a beautiful, secure and quiet setting for our residents. The campus consists of the home, independent living seniors' apartments and a health center.
We have built a reputation as a trusted, quality long-term care home providing a home-like environment for our 89 residents. We are dedicated to providing excellent care and service to our residents, with compassion and respect for each individual resident. Shoreham has the ability to provide a secure environment for residents when needed, as well as a palliative care room for end of life care. There is also a room available to provide short-term respite for members of the community.
Our location in the community makes popping in for a visit easy. Our residents appreciate being able to see loved ones everyday. Some visitors come more than once a day!
Shoreham Village Senior Citizen Association was founded by a group of local citizens in 1974 to address the growing need for long-term care in the Chester area. Shoreham is a non-profit organization governed by a volunteer board of directors and we enjoy wonderful community support.
